Ganglioside autoantibody profile (IgG/IgM)

This test is done to detect antibodies targeting gangliosides, which are important components of nerve cell membranes. These antibodies are associated with autoimmune neurological disorders, particularly peripheral neuropathies such as Guillain-Barré syndrome and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). It helps support diagnosis and classification of immune-mediated nerve damage.
