Terms & Conditions – Laboratoo

1. Introduction
Welcome to Laboratoo (“Platform”). These Terms & Conditions
(“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Laboratoo website, mobile
applications, content, features, and related services.
By accessing or using Laboratoo, you acknowledge that you have
read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not
agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the
Platform.
2. Definitions
• “Laboratoo” refers to the digital marketplace platform connecting
Users with independent laboratories, clinics, and healthcare Providers.
• “User” refers to any individual accessing, browsing, booking, or using
services through the Platform.
• “Provider” refers to laboratories, clinics, healthcare facilities, or
independent healthcare entities offering services through Laboratoo.
• “Services” refer to laboratory test bookings, home sample collection, report
access, informational content, and related offerings available through the
Platform.
3. Nature of the Platform
Laboratoo operates strictly as a technology-enabled marketplace and
intermediary platform.
Laboratoo facilitates:
• Discovery, comparison, and booking of laboratory and healthcare-related
services.
• Communication and payment processing between Users and Providers.
• Access to informational content related to laboratory testing and healthcare
awareness.
Laboratoo does NOT:
• Provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or healthcare services.
• Operate laboratories or healthcare facilities.
• Employ, supervise, or medically control Providers.
• Act as a licensed healthcare provider, physician, or medical authority.
All Providers listed on the Platform are independent third parties solely responsible for the services they provide.
4. Informational Content Disclaimer
Any information made available on the Platform, including but not
limited to:
• Test preparation instructions.
• Guidance regarding when tests may be required.
• Health-related articles and blog content.
• Educational materials.
• Wellness recommendations.
• Test descriptions and package details.
is provided strictly for general informational and educational purposes only.
Such content:
• Does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical
consultation.
• May not apply to your individual medical condition or circumstances.
Users must always consult directly with the relevant Provider
and/or a qualified healthcare professional for accurate medical guidance,
interpretation, suitability of tests, preparation requirements, and treatment
decisions.
Laboratoo expressly disclaims any liability arising from reliance on informational content available on the Platform.
5. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Account Registration & Security
You agree to:
• Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Accept full responsibility for all activities conducted through your account.
• Notify Laboratoo immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
Laboratoo shall not be liable for losses or damages arising from unauthorized access to your account.
7. Booking, Pricing & Payments
• All bookings are subject to Provider availability and
confirmation.
• Prices may vary depending on location, Provider policies, availability, and
service type.
• Insurance processing remains subject to Provider review, eligibility
verification, and approval.
Payments:
• May be processed through the Platform or directly by the Provider.
• May differ from displayed estimates due to insurance coverage, additional
services, physician requests, or on-site assessments.
Laboratoo acts solely as a payment facilitator where applicable and is not responsible for billing disputes, insurance approvals, reimbursement decisions, or pricing discrepancies.
8. Cancellation, Refund, No-Show & Rescheduling Policy
Cancellation:
• More than 2 hours before appointment: Free.
• Within 2 hours of appointment: 30% cancellation fee applies.
Rescheduling:
• More than 2 hours before appointment: Free.
• Within 2 hours of appointment: 20% rescheduling fee applies.
No-show:
• Failure to attend appointment without notice may result in a 50% no-show fee.
Refund eligibility is subject to Laboratoo policies and Provider
conditions.
9. Provider Responsibility & Regulatory Compliance
9.1 Independent Providers
All Providers are independent entities and are not employees,
representatives, partners, or agents of Laboratoo.
9.2 Full Responsibility of Providers
Each Provider bears sole responsibility for:
• Accuracy and validity of laboratory results.
• Sample collection, handling, transportation, and processing.
• Clinical quality and service standards.
• Staff qualifications, certifications, and licensing.
• Hygiene, safety, and operational compliance.
• Medical interpretation and reporting.
Laboratoo shall not be liable for Provider performance, negligence,
misconduct, delays, omissions, or errors.
9.3 Compliance with Local Regulations
Each Provider represents and warrants that it:
• Holds all required licenses and approvals.
• Complies with healthcare regulations applicable in its jurisdiction.
• Adheres to patient privacy and data protection laws.
• Maintains all required certifications and operational permits.
This includes compliance in every country or region where Laboratoo
operates.
Laboratoo:
• Does not guarantee Provider compliance.
• Does not continuously audit Providers.
• Shall not be liable for regulatory violations committed by Providers.
9.4 No Medical or Clinical Liability
Laboratoo is not responsible for:
• Misdiagnosis or incorrect results.
• Medical decisions or treatment plans.
• Health complications or outcomes.
• Delays, interruptions, or report inaccuracies.
• Suitability of tests for a User’s condition.
All clinical responsibility remains exclusively with the Provider
and the User’s healthcare professional.
9.5 No Warranty
All services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Laboratoo makes no warranties regarding:
• Accuracy or completeness of test results.
• Reliability or qualifications of Providers.
• Continuous service availability.
• Medical outcomes or health improvements.
9.6 Limitation of Platform Role
Laboratoo’s role is strictly limited to:
• Listing Providers.
• Facilitating bookings and communication.
• Enabling digital transactions where applicable.
Laboratoo is not involved in medical service delivery.
9.7 User Acknowledgment
By using the Platform, Users acknowledge that:
• Laboratoo is not a healthcare provider.
• Providers are solely responsible for healthcare services.
• Users should contact Providers directly for medical clarification and
guidance.
• Medical advice should only be obtained from qualified healthcare
professionals.
9.8 Indemnification for Provider Actions
Users agree that Laboratoo shall not be held liable for claims
arising from:
• Provider negligence or misconduct.
• Regulatory non-compliance.
• Medical errors or omissions.
• Service failures or delays.
10. User Responsibilities
Users agree not to:
• Provide false or misleading information.
• Misuse or disrupt the Platform.
• Engage in fraudulent activity.
• Violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
11. Platform Availability
Laboratoo does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
of the Platform.
Access may be suspended or restricted due to:
• Maintenance or upgrades.
• Security concerns.
• Technical issues.
• Legal or regulatory requirements.
12. Data Privacy & Protection
Laboratoo may collect, store, process, and share personal and
health-related information as necessary to facilitate services.
By using the Platform, Users consent to:
• Sharing relevant data with Providers for service delivery.
• Processing data in accordance with applicable laws and the Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, software, text, graphics, and
designs on the Platform are owned by Laboratoo or its licensors.
Unauthorized copying, distribution, modification, or reproduction is prohibited.
14. Third-Party Services
Laboratoo may integrate with or provide access to third-party
systems or services.
Laboratoo is not responsible for:
• Third-party content or policies.
• External systems or service interruptions.
• Third-party actions, omissions, or inaccuracies.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laboratoo shall not be
liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
• Medical outcomes or clinical decisions.
• Loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
• Provider actions, negligence, or omissions.
• Reliance on informational or educational content available on the Platform.
Any liability of Laboratoo, if established, shall not exceed the amount paid through the Platform for the relevant transaction.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Laboratoo, its affiliates,
directors, employees, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages,
losses, or expenses arising from:
• Your use or misuse of the Platform.
• Violation of these Terms.
• Disputes with Providers.
• Reliance on informational content or recommendations.
17. Termination
Laboratoo reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the
Platform at its sole discretion, including where:
• These Terms are violated.
• Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected.
• Required by applicable law or regulation.
18. Modifications to Terms
Laboratoo may amend or update these Terms at any time without prior
notice.
Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with
the laws of the State of Qatar.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.
20. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt
good-faith resolution through negotiation.
Where appropriate, mediation or arbitration may be considered prior to court action.
