Albumin

This test is done to measure albumin, the most abundant protein in the blood. It helps maintain fluid balance and transports hormones, vitamins, and drugs. Low levels may indicate liver disease, kidney disease, malnutrition, or inflammation, while high levels are usually related to dehydration.
