Urine Protein (24 hours)
This test is done to measure the total amount of protein lost in urine over a 24-hour period. Normally, only very small amounts of protein are excreted. Increased levels may indicate kidney damage from conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, glomerular disease, or other renal disorders.
