  • During infertility evaluation.
  • If difficulty conceiving occurs.
  • When abnormal semen parameters are suspected.
  • If reproductive tract infection or inflammation is suspected.
  • As part of male fertility assessment.
  • Abstain from ejaculation for 2–7 days before testing.
  • Collect sample via masturbation into a sterile container.
