Antinuclear antibody profile IgG (immunoblot)
This test is done to identify specific IgG antibodies directed against various nuclear antigens using an immunoblot method. Unlike general ANA screening tests, it provides more detailed information about the exact antibody types present. It helps in diagnosing and differentiating autoimmune connective tissue diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren’s syndrome, and systemic sclerosis.
